What Is HSS?
Housing Stabilization Services or HSS, is a new Minnesota Medical Assistance benefit that helps Individuals with disabilities, including mental illness, substance use disorder, and seniors find and keep housing.
This service does not require the individual to be on a waiver in order to receive it. The only requirement is that the individual is approved for Medical Assistance.

Housing Coordinator: Upon approval, you'll be assigned a dedicated Housing Coordinator who will work closely with you. Your Housing Coordinator will assist in finding suitable housing options, coordinating placement, and providing ongoing support.
